This is huge! The separation between P65 & FBS Mid Majors is growing fast!

They not only have to deal with the drop in TV revenues, but the Cost of Attendance is also hitting them right in the mouth.

We have been discussing the separation here for years. It is now happening at a faster pace than ever. I see the FBS Mid Majors and the FCS D1's merging to create their own national championship. I do think that some of the FBS Mid Majors come to the Power Conferences, but most will be better off in this new division because they can make the playoff and possibly win a national championship. Most if not all of these schools have no chance to win one. History often repeats itself. Search what happened in 1978.
